EXTERIOR
Lexus GX 460

Brains, beauty, and brawn. You want a vehicle that can do it all. While the Chevy Tahoe has some stylish elements, there’s no question that the Lexus GX 460 is the winner when it comes to exterior looks.

Nighttime Lights

Starting off strong, the Lexus GX 460 comes with Premium Triple-Beam LED headlamps that will make it easy to see the road and any obstacles when you’re driving at night. Plus, you can also opt for LED foglamps and headlamp washers.

While the Chevy Tahoe offers LED headlights, they don’t have the same power that the triple-beam version does. Plus, you won’t find LED foglamps on the Chevy.

Easy to Maneuver

Both the Lexus GX 460 and the Chevy Tahoe have room for seven passengers. However, the Lexus GX 460 finds the perfect middle ground between having enough space to stretch out while still having a vehicle that’s easy to maneuver.

While both models have more than 40 inches of front legroom, only the Lexus GX 460 has these exterior dimensions:

  • Length: 192.1 inches
  • Width: 74.2 inches
  • Height: 74.2 inches

The Chevy Tahoe may be harder to drive, especially if you find yourself in the city. Its bulky measurements, such as the length of 210.7 inches and width of 81 inches, mean you may have to search for larger parking spots and avoid narrow streets.

INTERIOR
Lexus GX 460

Speaking of dimensions, you’re probably wondering how comfortable the interiors of these two models are. We’re happy to say that both models offer advanced amenities to improve your driving experience.

Customized Seating

As the driver, you’re going to put a lot of work into the drive. With a comfortable and adjustable seat, your ride can be enhanced. While both models offer amenities, only one model offers them on every single trim level.

For instance, 10-way power-adjustable front seats are standard on the base trim of the Lexus GX 460, while similar seats in the Chevy aren’t even available unless you upgrade to a higher trim.

Temperature Control

Both models do offer 3-zone automatic climate control on all trims; but once again, the base trim of the Chevy Tahoe can’t go the extra mile. In order to opt for heated and ventilated seats, you’ll need to upgrade to a higher trim.

With the Lexus GX 460, you can get your heated and ventilated seats on every trim.

TECHNOLOGY
Lexus GX 460

High-tech infotainment can make or break your drive. Whether you’re exploring new locations, pulling up a collaborative road-trip playlist, or just pumping yourself up on the way to work, both the Chevy Tahoe and the Lexus GX 460 have impressive technology.

High-Tech Capability

Connectivity is everything today. In fact, the designers of both the Lexus GX 460 and the Chevy Tahoe know this. As such, both models come standard with:

  • Apple CarPlay®
  • Android Auto™
  • Voice command

However, you’ll have an easier time using these connectivity features with the Lexus GX 460, as it comes standard with a 10.3-inch touchscreen. The standard screen in the Chevy Tahoe is just eight inches, while the upgraded screen is still smaller than the Lexus at 10.2 inches.

Turn Up Your Playlist

In addition to having a large touchscreen to use, the Lexus GX 460 also offers an available Mark Levinson® 17-speaker, 330-watt Premium Surround Sound audio system.

While the Chevy Tahoe offers its own upgraded BOSE® audio system, it only comes with a maximum of 10 speakers.
